Moniker DJ PIER makes space for a nightlife identity partial to creating intersectional audio spaces in the way of race/ethnicity, and sex/gender/sexuality. 

Emphasis on melodic & bass-heavy tracks, feminine artists, and attention to turn away from some of the generalized tones of misogyny and phobias related to sex, gender and sexuality in American rap/hip-hop play with high energy interactions.
