As a final exposé of interactions between modern capacity in media and modification, this brief video piece interrogates aesthetic, ethic and intersectional feminist conscience. Samples artist Orlan’s engagement with self-modification and feminist rhetoric (Omnipresence, 1993), visual work from singer/entrepreneur Rihanna’s cosmetic line and audio from Azealia Banks’ Broke With Expensive Taste (JFK).
